To continue with our 2006 campaign kick-off, United Way provided free balloons and agency-sponsored activities to children at our Family Fun Tent at the Potato Bowl's French Fry Feed. 

United Way's Board of Directors and Campaign Cabinet members also helped serve french fries to the massive crowd.

The fun activities, beautiful September weather and irresistible french fries helped the French Fry Feed breaks its own record by serving 4,518 pounds of french fries at the annual event in University Park.

Over a dozen United Way agencies participated in this year's Family Fun Tent by providing free activities for children.

To help stop domestic violence and show that "hands are not for hitting," Migrant Health Services had children trace their hands and sign their names at their booth.

Home Delivered Meals, a partner agency that delivers nutritious, noon meals to the homebound, allowed children to decorate their meal bags.
