Undies Sundays project sorting to take place on National Make a Difference Day

Request for press coverage at the sorting and counting of Undies Sundays donations on Saturday, October 22, 2005, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grand Forks Civic Auditorium at 615 1st Avenue North.

Undies Sundays, a project which collects new underwear, diapers, socks and personal care items for the needy, will sort through donations to find out if they topped last year’s 12,000 item goal.  The successful project is in its third year of existence and provides these often overlooked necessities to individuals and families who are without them in the Greater Grand Forks area.
